Finding Real Satisfaction, Ishah Hernandez

The Lord Jesus was so wise in every situation that I went through so I could come here, to the Full-Time Training in Anaheim (FTTA). I realized that my heart was never satisfied with the things on this earth. I was created for something higher!

I graduated from Occupational Therapy and even in my clinical practice, the Lord guided me to His real desire for me. I started working in a physical disabilities area. It was very interesting, but I was not touching the deepest part of man, so I was not satisfied. Later, in the second part of my practice, I worked in a psychiatric unit. This was much more interesting, because I was dealing with a deeper part of man, but I was still not doing what God had called me for; so, my desire to come to the FTTA grew even more. I needed to be with people that would take care of their human spirit (1 Thessalonians 5:23). I needed to learn more of the highest profession in the universe: to spend time with my dear Lord Jesus.

Now I praise the Lord that by His mercy I am here. Now my life makes sense. I know that every day that goes by is not a wasted day. When I put my head down on the pillow I know that something of Christ has been added to me. Daily the riches of Christ are being dispensed into me and there is a mutual gain: He's gaining me and I'm gaining Him.

Day after day we are exposed to the ministry of Watchman Nee and Witness Lee. We are being trained in life, truth, character and service. All that we need we have to preach the pure gospel throughout the earth.

I thank the Lord infinitely for having me here and I pray that He will guide many young people to come here and be trained.
